Katharine Dell
Theological themes in the ’wisdom literature’: Proverbs, Job and Ecclesiastes
Professor Katharine Dell is Professor of Old Testament Literature and Theology at Cambridge University, and Fellow and Director of Studies in Theology, Religion and Philosophy of Religion at St Catharine’s College, Oxford. Her research interest is the wisdom literature of the Old Testament and she has written four books on Job and two on Proverbs as well as an introduction for students. She has also written an introductory handbook to the Old Testament as a whole, entitled Opening the Old Testament and she teaches across the Old Testament syllabus in the Faculty of Divinity.

Dan Nässelqvist
Hymnic Passages in the New Testament and Other Ancient Literature
Dan Nässelqvist is Docent in New testamentet Studies at Lund University. In his research, he has focused on early christian reading culture, literary style in the New Testament and prosaic hymns from antiquity. He has also been engaged in Bible translation, produced a textbook in New Testament Greek, and is one of the translators working on the coming translation of the New Testament (NT 2026) by the Swedish Bible Society.
