Hebrew Bible, Wesley Theological Seminary, en öppen föreläsning:

“Trauma, Language, and the Book of Job.”

Trauma has adverse effects on human language for both individuals and collectives. At the same time, language plays a vital role in processing and integrating the experience of trauma. In this lecture, I examine the complex trauma-language relationship that obtains in the book of Job to better understand some of its difficult features.
