Itero – Reprints in the Service of the Scholarly Community

Books still in demand should not get out of print, and with today’s techniques there is no defence. With the reprint series Itero, the Biblical Studies department at Stockholm School of Theology would like to make books available for free online and at a very low cost in print.

Several faculty members have published their studies in series that were recently cancelled. With the publishing market in constant flux, series migrate, and volumes still in demand can suddenly become unavailable. This is unsatisfactory. In collaboration with the authors, we are now republishing a number of such volumes and we will consider publishing other out-of-print titles, for which authors hold the copyright. This is entirely a non-profit project. Files may be downloaded below and books can be bought through most major internet bookshops, including bod.se/bookshop.
