Welcome to the Library at UCS/EHS! Here we have gathered information that we think new students might need.
Through the library resources you can search for information mainly within the university’s subject areas of theology / religious studies and human rights.
On campus, you will find the library to the left as you enter the main entrance. At the library homepage you will find the library´s digital resources such as databases and e-books (se the Library A-Z for links). Read more about the library resources and how you can get access to them below.
Where can I find the course literature?
You will find printed course literature on the course shelve section to the left when you enter the library. The loan period for course literature is 1 week. The library has one copy of each book as reference literature for using in the library only (marked red). Search the EHS library catalog (Libris) to see if a book is available for loan. E-books available at EHS library is also searchable via Libris. Access to allt the librarys digital resources is provided through the authentification system OpenAthens. Information is be found on the course website in Canvas. Contact email@example.com if you do not have an activated OpenAthens account.

You borrow books yourself using the self-service computer below the stairs to the right in the library. Follow the instructions on the wall above the computer.
How do I return books?
You return books yourself in the self-service computer below the stairs to the right of the library. Follow the instructions on the wall above the computer.
What happens if I return a book late?
No late fees are charged during the pandemic.
What studying opportunities and other services do the library offer?
The library has a quiet study places, student computers, wifi and a photocopy printer / scanner. You can make print-outs or photocopies at the cost of 2 sek / page. Scanning is free of charge.
