Programs and courses at the bachelor’s level

To be eligible for courses and programs at the bachelor’s level, you must meet general admission requirements for college or university studies in Sweden. For a detailed description of the general admission requirements, see Entry requirements (Universityadmissions.se). For undergraduate courses at higher levels than the entry level, previous undergraduate studies in theology/religion are required.

Programs and courses at the master’s level

To be eligible for the one- or two-year programs at the master’s level, you must have completed courses for a bachelor’s degree in theology/religious studies, 180 ECTS credits, where at least 150 ECTS credits consist of theology/religious studies, including a degree project of 15 ECTS credits. At least 15 ECTS credits at the advanced undergraduate level within the chosen degree specialization must be included. Students with other relevant subjects or equivalent foreign degrees can be admitted after an individual assessment. For graduate courses at higher levels than the entry level, previous graduate studies in theology/religion are required.
