Name of the project/report:
Unveiling Injustice: Analysis of Human Rights Violations Against the LGBTQ+ Community in Iran

Tell us about the report and why did you choose to write about this subject?
In my report, I delve into the intimate chronicle of my life, intertwining the struggles of the LGBTQ+ community in Iran with my personal journey of self-discovery and liberation. As a proud Iranian who refused to be coerced into embracing Islam, my exploration led me to Christianity, coinciding with the realization of my same-sex attraction. Trapped within a dictatorial regime, I faced a harrowing death sentence for daring to love freely and choose my religion. My escape from Iran propelled me to pursue studies in Human Rights and Democracy, driven by a relentless commitment to fight against oppression. The report reflects not only the atrocities faced by the gay community in Iran but also serves as a testament to my unwavering pursuit of freedom and justice.
