Responsibility for personal information

University College Stockholm (corp. No. 556947-8968) is responsible for the processing of personal information in accordance with current legislation.

Purpose

The purpose is to establish good care of records and to improve the student administration, in order to improve our ability to identify, contact and administer students within the work university.

Legal basis

EHS holds personal details only when there is a legal basis to do so. The law determines the following: what counts as information of public interest, legal obligation, agreement, consent, and balance of interests when processing your personal data.

Storage

We keep your personal data only for as long as required for our administrative purposes or for as long as required by law.

Access to your personal details

Your personal details will primarily be held by EHS and its staff.However, in addition, your personal details may be shared with third parties who process personal data on our behalf, so-called personal data assistants. For example, our IT and system suppliers may have access to your personal data.

Right to information

You have the right to receive information free of charge about which personal details EHS registers and stores about you.

Right to request correction

You also have the right to request correction of inaccurate information or to supplement incomplete information.

If the management of your personal details is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

If you are unhappy with how EHS manages your personal details, you always have the right to contact the Data Inspectorate with your complaints.
